Family Seeks Help Solving Hit and Run, Other Things You Need to Know

Five things you need to know this Friday.

If you've never experienced a hit-and-run accident, you're lucky. Perhaps the most annoying thing about them is that the person responsible ran, so you are then left with the responsibility for the damages.

Bloomingdale resident Kit Emory is asking for the community's help in solving a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Tuesday to her husband, Andrew Sather's, car on Tuesday. Sather's Toyota was parked outside the Bloomingdale Post Office, on Main Street, and as Sather was exiting the car, another driver allegedly side-swiped the vehicle, taking off the front door almost completely.

The police have filed a report, Emory said, but now Sather and Emory are asking any witnesses who may have seen this event to come forward and help provide police with information. You need to know who to provide this information to, but that's not all you need to know today. Here are five things:
