Five Places to See Santa in the Tri-Boro

Christmas is not the only night St. Nick will be in town.

Santa Claus will be making several special appearances in the tri-boro, with or without Mrs. Claus, this year. Of course, there's one night that many kids care most about seeing Santa, but perhaps they'd like a sneak peak at Santa's 2011 wardrobe? Maybe tell him how "nice" they have been?

For this special Saturday edition of 5 Things You Need to Know Today, we're bringing you five places to see Santa in the next few weeks. If we missed any, be sure to tell us where you think we can spot Santa in the comments.

  1. At Breakfast in Kinnelon: The Winter Festival, sponsored by the Home and School Association, is being held on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Pearl R. Miller School and will feature photos with Santa.
  2. Lighting up Butler Park: Santa will be there when lights up its park on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.
  3. Riding on a Kinnelon Fire Truck: Santa will be riding with the Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Co. around the borough on Dec. 11.
  4. Riding on a Bloomingdale Fire Truck: Santa will be riding in Bloomingdale with the ent on Dec. 17 (depending on the weather).
  5. Hanging out at the Bloomingdale Holiday Stroll: Santa will be at the at the end of the stroll near Sloan Park for visits on Dec. 10 beginning at 4:30 p.m.
