Hip, hip hooray for hometown pride.

Sometimes we forget how much there is to be proud of where we live. There's lots of great things all around us.

  1. You Can Show Pride for the Undefeated Bulldogs: The football team will be facing also-undefeated Mountain Lakes at Mountain Lakes, 96 Powerville Road, Saturday at 1 p.m. Throw on some blue and gold and cheer on your team.
  2. You Can Show Pride for the Kinnelon Colts: If you're a Colts supporter instead, show pride for your team in green by cheering them on as they play Boonton at Boonton, 306 Lathrop Avenue, at 7 p.m. Friday.
  3. You Can Show Serious Pride As They Face Each Other Next Week: Kinnelon and Butler football will be facing off against each other on Oct. 28 at Butler at 7 p.m.
  4. You Can Show Pride for Bloomingdale Being in a Movie: "Bad Parents" is in Bloomingdale at the field Sunday. While we're sure the producers would not be pleased with a large crowd at the field, we'll be there snapping photos and you can feel free to share with your friends.
  5. You Can Show Pride for Your Kids By Entering Them in Our Contest: We're looking for the cutest kids in costume with our Little Pumpkins Costume Challenge with Heidi Klum. The winner has the chance to meet Heidi Klum herself or have $1,031 donated to the charity of their choice. Enter your kid in the contest here.
