Free Concert, Board of Education Meetings and More This Week

A look ahead at what you'll see on Kinnelon-Butler Patch.

You know it's summer when instead of silence, you can hear kids playing outside during the day, running in the sprinkler and riding bikes up and down the neighbor's driveway. Add an outdoor concert series to the mix and there's no question that the dog days are on their way.

This week, such a concert series will begin in Butler, as well as the first board of education meetings for the Butler and Kinnelon school districts since school ended this year. Those are a few things you will see coverage from on Kinnelon-Butler Patch this week. Here are a few more:

  2. Tuesday- The will meet at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall, 101 Hamburg Turnpike.
  3. Also Tuesday- The is having a special program called "Hankies for Heroes" where kids of all ages will be able to come to the library and decorate handkerchiefs that will be sent to troops overseas. The program will begin at 7 p.m.
  4. Thursday-The will meet for its regular meeting, which was rescheduled from last Thursday, at 8 p.m. at the auditorium.
