Get Out: 'Dream Big' at Big Apple Circus

Between a pasta night and tricky tray, there are plenty of events to help support your local PTA happening this weekend. 

But if you're looking for something more fun to do, why not bring them to the Big Apple Circus at the TD Bank Ballpark? We've got that and more in store for you in this week's Get Out.

Butler PTA Pasta Night
When/Where: Friday at 6 p.m. at the 
Why Go: To enjoy some pasta and participate in a cake-decorating contest

St. Anthony's Columbiettes Tricky Tray

Why Go: To support the PTA and possibly win some prizes

Live Jazz with Piano Man Larry Hunt
When/Where: Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Momento Fine Dining and Restaurant Lounge, 374 Morsetown Road, West Milford
Why Go: The Larry Hunt Trio has performed in more than 1,000 venues throughout the U.S.A. and Europe. He will be joined by Tom Rosenthal on baritone and tenor sax and Keith Muldare on acoustic bass

Stories and Crafts
When/Where: Thursday all day at the
Why Go: Children ages 3 to 6 can hear stories and make crafts
Cost: Free

Zumba
When/Where: Thursday at 7 p.m. at 69 Carey Avenue
Why Go: To burn calories while learning some Latin dance moves.
Cost: $10 for drop-ins

Kinnelon Softball Flapjack Fundraiser
When/Where: Saturday at 8 a.m. at
Why Go: To support the Kinnelon girls softball team in traveling to Cooperstown for the Field of Dreams Tournament and eat some pancakes.

Big Apple Circus
When/Where: Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at 
Why Go: To see the circus's "Dream Big" show, complete with acrobats, trapeze flyers, a juggler and much more
Cost: $20

When/Where: At various times Friday-Sunday at The Center for Spiritual Living Morristown, in Morris Township
Why Go: You want to see progressive films, mingle with like-minded folks, enjoy some food, and more

Why Go: You want to mix and mingle with other young professionals, while celebrating this organization's anniversary
