Kinnelon Impound Lot Vote Tabled

After a sometimes heated discussion between members of the public and the Kinnelon mayor and council Thursday, council members voted to table discussion on creating a vehicle seizure and police evidence lot behind the borough municipal building until more information can be obtained. At one point, the council was considering possibly using the lot as a revenue-gaining source through shared services agreements with other municipalities, but one councilman said that idea has been taken off the table.

'Nightmare on Bailey Ave.' Back on in Bloomingdale

The Borough of Bloomingdale's residents will be able to enjoy the return of the Bailey Avenue Halloween event this year after the council voted to approve blocking off the street and reimbursing organizers at Monday's special meeting.

Mayor Breaks Tie on Vote to Pay CFO Bill

Bloomingdale Mayor Jonathan Dunleavy voted affirmatively for paying a bill for work done by the borough's former CFO Donna Mollineaux, breaking a council tie after three members abstained.
