Kinnelon Woman to Be Honored As 'Living Treasure'

A look at what you can expect to see this week on Kinnelon-Butler Patch.

After putting a call out for "living treasures" in Morris County, Kinnelon's Eileen Gelenter was selected as one of six recipients to be honored during a ceremony Thursday.

Gelenter will be designated as a living treasure for serving the community for over 40 years, teaching several programs at the , helping found the Jewish Congregation of Kinnelon, entertaining children as "Red the Tender Clown," and more.

We will be there taking photos as Gelenter receives the award. Here's a look at what else we will be covering this week:

  1. Monday- The will be having its reorganization meeting, which was postponed from last Monday, at the at 7 p.m.
  2. Tuesday-The will be meeting at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall, at 101 Hamburg Turnpike.
  3. Thursday-Gelenter will be honored at the St. Francis Residential Community, in Denville, at 1:30 p.m.
  4. Also Thursday-The will be having its workshop meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the conference room at the municipal building.
  5. Also Thursday-The Butler Planning Board will be meeting and discussing plans for a proposed again. The board will meet at 7 p.m. at One Ace Road.
