Bloomingdale BOE to Interview Board Candidates

The Bloomingdale Public Schools Board of Education will be interviewing candidates for an open seat on the board during Monday's meeting.

A vacancy exists on the board after former school board member Rich Dellaripa was elected to the Bloomingdale Council in November. During previous board candidate interviews, board members have asked the candidates questions in public before discussing their choice in closed session and announcing the chosen member at the conclusion of deliberations.

Also during Monday's meeting, the board will continue to discuss development of the 2013-14 school budget. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Walter T. Bergen School library.
