New Editors Take Over Tri-Boro Patch

But don't be a stranger.

A little more than two years ago, I was sitting at Kinnelon Bagel thinking of ways to explain myself, Patch and highlight my hometown in a single video.

A lot has changed since December 15, 2010, when that video was first published. We had a different name then (Kinnelon-Butler Patch), the site has since undergone some design changes, and I couldn't tell you how many times my hair color has been altered.

In the past two years, I've learned more about my home community than the 19 years I lived here before college. I've spent time with you, celebrating community events, and worked to bring you information on some of the community's most unexplainable tragedies.

Sometimes, I got my hands dirty (or wet) braving flood waters on Bloomingdale's Main Street to shoot video or standing outside in the dark for hours to be able to share exactly how the story ended when two hikers got lost in the woods in Kinnelon.

I'm grateful for the friendships I've made, the people I've met and the experiences I've had during my return to the tri-boro with Patch. But now it's time for me to make way for two new editors to continue bringing the community its local news as I take on a new role with Patch.

Tri-Boro Patch will be in good hands with Patchers Laura Silvius and Natalie Davis. Both editors have been with Patch for some time covering towns in Morris County: Natalie has been responsible for Parsippany Patch and Laura for Chatham Patch and East Hanover-Florham Park Patch. Check out Laura's bio here and Natalie's here.

But this is not goodbye. In fact, you'll likely see my name on Tri-Boro Patch frequently and me around town hanging out. You can still reach out to say "hi" at ariana.cohn-sheehan@patch.com.

Going forward, if you have a news tip to share with your community, please feel free to reach out to Laura Silivius at laura.silvius@patch.com or Natalie Davis at natalie.davis@patch.com.
