Winter storm warning issued for Morris County.

As much as 10 inches of snow could be on the ground by Friday afternoon—and that's not an April Fools joke, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS has issued a winter storm warning for parts of northern New Jersey, including Morris County, beginning Thursday night at 10 p.m., through Friday at noon.

According to the NWS, 5 to 10 inches of snow is possible, with higher elevations receiving the most accumulation. The heavy snow could cause downed limbs and power lines, the NWS said.
