In, Butler Police Capt. Ciro Chimento said the road crews have been on top of salting and plowing all morning. The roads are not as icy as predicted, according to Chimento.

"It's more of a slushy type of mess than anything else," he said. "Some parts are a little bit slick."

Chimento said there were no accidents reported through the morning.

In , the roads have been pretty good as well, according to Kinnelon Councilman and DPW Liaison Dan O'Dougherty. O'Dougherty wanted to remind borough residents not to park on the streets or shovel snow from driveways into the roads.

"Please do not remove the snow from your property into the thoroughfare," he said, noting that it makes road conditions unsafe for neighbors when snow is plowed to the street.

Patch will provide updates throughout the storm.
