Spring Into April With Wellness Expo and More

Five things you need to know on this first day of April.

With a forecast of 10 inches of snow possible, you may not feel like we're into April today. But in case you needed a reminder, here are a few things going on this month to get excited for.

  1. You Need to Know It's April Fool's Day: We're probably ruining a lot of good pranks by reminding people of this, but stay on your guard and think of your best prank, and hey, email us the results!
  2. You Need to Know Where to Learn About Wellness: will be hosting its second annual Wellness Expo on April 13. To promote the event, Alice Kivlon's Computer Art class created a promotional poster that is hanging throughout the school and community.
  3. You Need to Know Where Your Dog Can Have a Photo Session: , in Butler is offering photo sessions from today through Sunday where you can get one 8x10 photo, two 5x7 photos and 8 wallet-sized photos for $9.95. There is no session fee for the photos and you can call 973-838-4901 to book an appointment.
  4. You Need to Know is Having a Dance: The dance is open to seventh and eighth grade students and will be held from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is $5 and there will be snacks and drinks available for purchase. Also at the dance, students will be able to purchase "shout outs" for $1 each.
  5. You Need to Know Family Chess Club is Happening Today: The is having chess club for six to 14-year-olds today at 3:30.
