A line of mourners that extended nearly an entire block of Bartholdi Avenue waited patiently Tuesday afternoon to say goodbye to Preston "Jay" Fairlamb Jr., a retired state trooper from who was killed in a motorcycle accident in May.
Fairlamb retired from the New Jersey State Police as a lieutenant in 2002 after 28 years working as a trooper. Bartholdi Avenue was blocked off in the area of , where the visitation hours were held between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m., by not only , but New Jersey State Police as well.
