Support St. Anthony's School at Tricky Tray Friday

Upcoming events and activities for you and your family.

If you didn't have the opportunity to vote for your s, there are still opportunities to support your district this weekend.

But if you're not into tricky trays and walk-a-thons, we have a few more options below in our Grab & Go Kids Planner.


Where/When:  in Butler at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 29.
Why Go: Because for $18 adults can get sandwiches, refreshments and one sheet of small prize tickets. Wine and beer will also be available.
Pricing: $18.

Where/When: From 12 to 4 p.m. at the  on Saturday, April 30.
Why Go: Because proceeds will benefit Delaney Brown, a child who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Two months ago she showed no more signs of the disease--but she is still under a doctor’s care and needs injections to fight the disease.
Pricing: $5 per person.


Where/When: At 8 a.m. at  on Sunday, May 1.
Why Go: Because this March of Dimes-sponsored event will help fund research and create support programs for soon-to-be mothers.

Where/When: Beginning at 8 p.m. at the  in Morristown on Friday, April 29.
Why Go: Because you’re a fan of “Clerks,” “Dogma,” “Mallrats” or any of Smith’s films, and you want to participate in a Q&A session with the director.
Pricing: Ranges from $42 to $89 and tickets are available online.


Where/When: 7 p.m. at  in Morris Plains on Friday, April 29.
Why Go: This beefsteak dinner with wine, beer, soft drinks and videocast horse racing will raise funds to support the Morris Plains Rotary’s charities.
Pricing: $50 per person.

GRAB & GO KIDS PLANNER


Where/When: 
From 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the  on Thursday, April 28.
Why Go: 
Because children of all ages can stop by anytime during the workshop to design a dinosaur. Two days later the museum will host Dino Day.
Pricing: 
$5 per child.


Where/When: From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the  on Saturday, April 30.
Why Go: Because children can create a dinosaur puppet, learn from a paleontologist, make a fossil footprint rubbing, or explore a dinosaur nest.
Pricing: Free with museum admission.


Where/When: From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the  on Saturday, April 30.
Why Go: Children five or older can learn about dinosaur names by playing the name game, as a part of the museum’s Dino Day.
Pricing: $3 per child.


Where/When:  
Sunday, May 1 at  in Bernards Township, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: 
It's a unique community festival with free pony rides, hayrides, games, music and family fun.Sparkee, the Somerset Patriots mascot, will be there too!
Pricing: 
Free admission and parking.


Where/When: At  from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 30.
Why Go: Because all ages can enjoy live animal shows, food, live music, nature walks, games and crafts while learning about the environment and celebrating Earth Day.
Pricing: $5 per person or $10 per car.
