Things to Know This Weekend: Festival, Flea Market and More

It is beginning to look like a busy weekend in the tri-boro already, with festivals, flea markets and veterinary grand openings happenings scheduled. 

Here are a few things you need to know this weekend:

  1. You Need to Know There's a New Vet in Town: Dr. Dawn Garro is celebrating the grand opening of her veterinary practice at 417 Main Street in Butler this Saturday at 9 a.m.
  2. You Need to Know Strawberry Festival is Sunday: Earlier in the week, we brought you a story about , which is a fundraiser being held at the L'Ecole Kinnelon Museum from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
  3. You Need to Know the Lake Edenwold Flea Market is Happening: The flea market and craft fair will be held at Lake Edenwold, on Cascade Way, in Butler, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
  4. You Need to Know the Bloomingdale PTA Family Fun Picnic is Sunday:  The free event is open to all Bloomingdale residents and will be held at the Walter T. Bergen School from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
  5. You Need to Know if All Else Fails, You Can Go For A Hike: A free Hardy Laurel Hike is being held at Pyramid Mountain on Sunday for ages 7 and up. If you're looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend, check it out!
