Trick-or-Treating Canceled in Butler
Butler Public Schools will also close Wednesday.
The Borough of Butler has canceled trick-or-treating for Halloween on Wednesday.
"Due to the large number of power outages and downed electric wires Halloween in the Borough of Butler has been cancelled," Butler police Capt. Ciro Chimento said. "This emergency has also caused all Butler schools to be closed until further notification."
Chimento said several roads were closed in Butler, including Valley Road, Myrtle Avenue, the top of Kiel Avenue (above Western Avenue), Kakeout Road near Hiller Court and Cascade Way.

Power outages were prevalent as well, as the main Butler Electric feeder line failed.
