Tri-Boro 2013 Election Guide

Here is a guide to who is running in the three municipalities and where to vote.

The following are a list of candidates running in the three Tri-Boro municipalities.

Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Borough Councils

Butler

Republicans: Stephen Regis, Edwin Vath

Democrat: Linda Gilvey

Independent: Gerry O’Halloran

Regis and Vath are incumbents.

Although she is listed on the ballot, Gilvey filed to drop out of the race but it was after the ballots were printed.

Bloomingdale

Democrats: Dawn Hudson, Anthony Costa

Republicans: Albert Miller, Linda Shortman

The person who receives the most number of write-in votes will win the last seat.

A few people have written letters to the editor about the election.

Karen Timpanaro, a Bloomingdale resident, wrote that readers should vote for Dawn Hudson and Tony Costa. Linda Huntley, a former Bloomingdale councilwoman, wrote that the Democrats used misleading information in their campaign material.
