American Heart Month: Eating Your Way to Health

Robert W. Alviene is pleased to present a Butler Board of Health program,
entitled American Heart Month: Eating Your Way to Health. The program will be
held in the Council Chambers at Butler Borough Town Hall, One Ace Road, on Tuesday,
February 4 from 7:00pm – 8:30pm. The seminar will include a nutrition seminar,
informative handouts, heart healthy meal and snack ideas, recipes and a
nutritious treat to try!

The
program’s featured speaker is Allison Smith, MPH, a Registered Dietician.  In addition, Butler Public Health Nurse Janet
Hess will provide a complementary blood pressure check for each participant. Register
by calling 973-838-7200, ext. 237. Should there be significant inclement
weather, the program will be held on Thursday, February 6th.
