Reading to “Joey” the Dog

Recommended for Children in 1st or 2nd Grade

Time:  5:30 P.M – 6:30 P.M.

This program is geared toward beginner readers in 1st or 2nd grade, or any child who wishes to practice reading aloud.  Come meet “Joey” and his owner Cheryl Zahner.  “Joey” is a friendly, well-mannered golden retriever who is a good listener.  Read to him the story of your choice.  This program encourages children to read in a relaxing, pressure-free environment.  Sign up for your 15 minute session with “Joey”.

All programs are free of charge.  Please call or visit the Library to reserve your place.  Butler Public Library is located at 1 Ace Road, behind the municipal building, on the internet at www.butlerlibrary.org, or by phone 973-838-3262.
