Kinnelon Conserves & The Kinnelon Green Team present a screening of the film A Chemical Reaction. This film tackles the dangers of yard chemicals - products designed to kill living things – and clearly makes the connection between chemical herbicides and pesticides and humans who get sick from exposure. The movie tells the story of one of the most powerful and effective community initiatives in the history of North America, in which a town’s right to protect its own residents was upheld, despite lobbying and legislative pressure from some powerful corporate interests.
