Christmas Tree Lightings, Holiday Celebrations to be Held

Santa Claus is scheduled to drop by Bloomingdale in a helicopter.

Each Tri-Boro Municipality will host a Christmas tree lighting and celebration this week.

  • Kinnelon’s will be Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in front of Borough Hall. Santa Claus will visit, the Christmas tree will be lit, and the Kinnelon High School choir will sing Christmas carols.
  • Bloomingdale’s annual holiday celebration will be held Dec. 8 at 2:30 p.m. at the Walter T. Bergen Middle School.

There will be vendors, carnival games, horse and buggy rides, crafts, music, and Santa Claus will drop by via helicopter. Attendees are asked to bring a toy for a boy or girl valued at $10 for a Kids Who Care toy drive.

  • Butler’s holiday tree lighting ceremony will be Friday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. in Butler Park.
