Get Out: Romantic Cooking Class and Wine Tasting

A list of nearby activities for you and your family.

As you prepare to shower your lovebug with kisses this weekend in advance of Valentine's Day, we've got a few ideas for things to do together in this week's Get Out, including a wine tasting soiree at the Smoke Rise Village Inn and a couple's cooking class.

But if you're not feeling romantic, we've got a few other ideas. Here are this week's events:

Couple Cooking Class and Wine Tasting
When/Where: Friday at 6 p.m. at .
Why Go: To watch Sous Chef Donald Colley prepare his favorite Valentine's Day dishes, while getting to be part of the demonstrations and tasting all the food that includes Chicken Francese and Bitter Sweet Chocolate Mousse.

Wine Tasting Soiree
When/Where: Saturday at 7 p.m. at the in Kinnelon
Why Go: To experience a variety of fine wines and light fare while supporting the , as it is their fundraiser.
Cost: $65 per person 

Introduction to Zumba (for beginners)
When/Where: Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at the
Why Go: To try out the latin-infused fitness class without the pressure of being surrounded by experts
