Mayor comforts Wi-Fi and Power Seekers at Kinnelon Library

Mayor comforts Wi-Fi and power seekers at Kinnelon Library.

Kinnelon Mayor Bob Collins made a reassuring stop by Kinnelons Public Library today looking to comfort Kinnelonians in this unfortanate time. The Library is open from 12-4 today providing free wifi and printing to anyone who needs it. As I was finishing last minute school assignments Mr. Collins walked up to my table and personally asked everyone if they have power and if they are doing well. He stated that he also does not have power but he is working very closely with Butler Eletric and other local authorities to get power to the remaning 10 % of Kinnelon citizens who are still in the dark. He thanked everyone for their patience and looks forward to the new week getting us back to normalcy. Frankly, I have never been in contact with Mr. Collins before and did not know much about his politics or his leadership skills. However, he presented himself very well and was thanked by multiple people. He made everyone smile and he emanated a sense of hope for us Kinnelonians that has not been seen in about a week now.
