Letter: Congratulations to Bloomingdale D.A.R.E. Students

Police thank school staff, community program leader for making program a success.

On behalf of the , we would like to congratulate all the fifth grade students at the for their participation and completion of the Drug Abuse Resistance program (D.A.R.E.). The students, along with teachers, faculty and the D.A.R.E. officers, celebrated this year's successful program with a pizza party at the school.

A special thanks for Chief Joe Borell, Principal Frank Verducci, Guidance Counselor Carolyn Morris and our 5th grade teachers, Kerridyn Trusheim, Sarah Hyland and Jill Engelhardt for all their assistance in making the program a success, along with the department's D.A.R.E. officers. Also thanks to Cyndy Hopper, of the Bloomingdale Municipal Drug Alliance, for her organization's continued support of the program.
