$11,000 Reward For Info On Diner Owner's Killer

Authorities seek help collecting information leading to arrest, conviction.

Law enforcement officials are offering a reward of $11,000 for help solving the apparent murder of Kenvil Diner owner Chafic “Steve” Ezzeddine on May 28.

The cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of people involved in the homicide, according to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.

, which he owned. Police believe the murder occurred sometime between 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Ezzeddine’s wife made a 911 call, then entered the diner and found her husband’s body at about 6:35 p.m. on May 28.

The continuing investigation includes the prosecutor's office's Major Crimes Unit, the Morris County Sheriff's Office's Criminal Investigations Section, the Roxbury Township Police Department, and the Morris County Medical Examiner's Office.
