17-Year-Old Found Unconscious, Smelling of Alcohol on Club House Trail

The following arrest information was supplied by the Kinnelon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police found a 17-year-old male unconscious and lying in the middle of the road at 2:34 a.m. Wednesday, allegedly with alcohol on his breath.

Ptl. Chris Carbone found the male, who had no identification on him but did have a cell phone next to him, as well as a skateboard, on Club House Trail. Police said the teen appeared to have a slight injury on his hand and smelled strongly of alcohol.

Ptl. Carbone used the cell phone to contact the male's family.

Tri-boro First Aid Squad responded to the scene, at which time the male awakened and allegedly told police that he had been drinking. He was transported to Chilton Memorial Hospital.

Police said charges for underage consumption of alcohol are pending.
