Two people suffered minor injuries after a crash on Route 23 South Wednesday afternoon.
Wayne Police Capt. Mark McGrath said the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Route 23, near Black Oak Ridge Road, before the snow started to fall, when the driver of one vehicle rear-ended another.
"The second driver took their eyes off the road for a moment and did not see the vehicle in front of them had stopped and struck the vehicle," McGrath said.

The driver and front-seat passenger of the vehicle in front were transported to Chilton Hospital with minor injuries to the neck and back. No other injuries were reported.
No summonses were issued and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
