3-Car Crash Cleaned Up Near 7-Eleven

Police said no injuries resulted from collision.

All lanes of traffic were opened near the intersection of Boonton Avenue  and Route 23, in Butler, Thursday morning after a three-car crash occurred at the entrance of the 7-Eleven parking lot.

Butler Police Capt. Ciro Chimento said the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. after a motorist traveling on Boonton Avenue was attempting to make a left turn into the parking lot. Chimento said another motorist, traveling toward Route 23 on Boonton Avenue, had attempted to let the turning motorist enter the lot, but a driver in the adjacent lane did not stop and a collision resulted.

Chimento said no injuries were sustained in the crash and no summonses were issued.

Two of the vehicles were towed from the scene and the third vehicle was deemed operable.
