Accident Victims Taken to Hospital

Bloomingdale police assisted after a motor vehicle accident Oct. 12 at the intersection of Union Avenue and Chestnut Street.

Officer Michael Fatzer found that a Dodge pickup truck attempted to make a left onto Union Avenue, heading south at 6:10 p.m., a police report states. The vehicle exiting Chestnut Street sustained extensive damage on the driver’s side rear door and back part of the vehicle, police said. 

The driver and passenger of the vehicle traveling on Chestnut Street complained of pain and were transported to Chilton Hospital by the Pompton Lakes First Aid Squad, authorities reported.

The vehicles were towed from the scene.

No summonses were issued.
