Bloomingdale Man Charged With Disorderly Conduct

Police said man was "unruly" with officers.

A 50-year-old Bloomingdale man was arrested on Charles Street Saturday after being charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

responded to Charles Street at 9:37 p.m. after a request for assistance was placed. After arriving at the scene and speaking with Andrew Parker, police said Sgt. Michael Boffa found Parker to be "unruly," according to information sent out by the department.

Police said they made several attempts to calm Parker down, but that he was ultimately charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest before being transported to the Bloomingdale police station. He was released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.

Police are investigating a criminal mischief complaint that was filed on Sunday on Roy Avenue at 3:24 p.m. where police said a witness allegedly saw a male actor exit a vehicle in front of a residence and use spray paint on the driveway. Police said the witness saw the actor return to their vehicle and flee the scene.

Ptl. Steven Smith responded and searched the area, but was unable to locate the vehicle. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 973-838-0158.
