Bloomingdale Police Accept Donated Clothes, Toys for Children

The Policemen's Benevolent Association Local 354 holding annual holiday charity drive to 'ease the burden' on local families.

The Bloomingdale police union is trying to make residents’ holiday season a little more special.

The Bloomingdale Policemen’s Benevolent Association Local 354 is holding its annual clothing and toy drive. The union will be purchasing items for the borough’s children to “ease the burden on parents and guardians who would not be able to afford the purchases,” said Officer Daniel Fletcher.

The police are accepting donations of clothes, toys, and money from anyone willing to donate them, Fletcher said.

Donations need to be dropped off at the police headquarters at 101 Hamburg Turnpike by Dec. 17.
