Bloomingdale police assisted authorities in a drunken driving accident in Riverdale on Saturday night, NJ.com reported.
Riverdale police found a Chevrolet pickup truck “extremely damaged” at the intersection of Hamburg Turnpike and Mathews Avenue, according to NJ.com.
The driver, George Bunero, 42, of Pompton Plains, was unconscious and was bleeding from his face and had a broken ankle, according to the article.
Bunero was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless
driving, failure to possess a registration card, and failure to wear a
seat belt, the article said.
Riverdale and Bloomingdale police could not be reached for additional comment.
