Man Found Covered in Blood With Stab Wounds

A man was found lying on a Bloomingdale road unconscious and covered in blood early Tuesday morning after police said he suffered from stab wounds to his torso and arm and had facial injuries.

said the man, whose identity has not been determined yet, was found at the intersection of Birch Road and Union Avenue at about 1 a.m. The man appears to be Hispanic and in his 20s, police said.

The man was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson.

Riverdale and Butler police and the Passaic County Sheriff's Department K-9 Patrol also responded to the scene. Police are asking anyone with information to call 973-838-0158.
