Bloomingdale Police to 'Take Back' Drugs This Month

Local police department participating in statewide unwanted medicine collection event.

The Bloomingdale Police Department will be collecting unused, unwanted medication as part of "Operation Take Back New Jersey" on April 27.

The local police department's participation in the statewide initiative, run by the Drug Enforcement Administration, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day. During those hours, residents will be able to deposit their unwanted medications in a drop-off box provided by the DEA.

Bloomingdale police recommend removing labels from any medication you intend to deposit in the box during the one-day event.
