Two black bears, that were allegedly seen fighting each other outside a Vreeland Avenue residence Friday, damaged two vehicles before leaving the scene before police arrived, said.
A resident called about the animal dispute at 3:01 a.m. and police said when Ptl. Steven Smith and Ptl. Michael Fatzer arrived, though they did not see the bears, they observed dents and claw marks on one of the vehicles and damage to the other vehicle.
