Boonton Woman Arrested on DWI Charges

A 52-year-old Boonton woman was arrested on DWI charges Saturday after police said she allegedly was speeding on Boonton Avenue.
According to , Patricia Fleischmann was stopped while driving a 2010 Mazda at 12:37 a.m. for allegedly speeding. While talking to Ptl. Nicholas Cifelli, police said they smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Fleischmann’s breath.
Police said Fleischmann allegedly admitted to drinking and was asked to perform several field sobriety tests. She was arrested and transported to the Kinnelon police station and later released with a summons to appear in court.
