Butler Man Killed After Crashing into a Tree, Police Say

Frank Lobianco, 62, may have had 'a medical event,' which caused him to hit a tree.

A Butler man was killed Thursday in Norwood after the dump truck he was driving crashed into a tree at about 3 p.m., NorthJersey.com reported.

Norwood Police Chief Jeffrey Kraples told the website that Frank Lobianco, 62, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Bergen County Medical Examiner and police are looking into whether the accident caused “a medical event,” Kraples said.

There will no other injuries and no other vehicles were involved in the accident, authorities said.
