Butler Woman Accused of Stealing $2,700 From Landlord

Nichole Predmore, 30, used money to pay for her cell phone bills, police said.

A Butler woman was charged with forgery and theft Monday after she stole nearly $2,700 from her landlord, police said.

Nichole Predmore, 30, cashed several electronic checks worth nearly $2,700 from the man’s personal bank account without his authorization, authorities said.

Police began investigating after the man reported finding several unauthorized transactions on his bank account. Predmore had used the funds to pay for her cellular phone bills, police said.

Predmore’s bail was set at $25,000 with no 10 percent option. She was unable to post bail and transferred to the Morris County Correctional Facility pending an appearance in Morris County Superior Court.
