Caldwell Woman Arrested on Warrant on Route 23

The following arrest information was supplied by the Butler Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 20-year-old Caldwell woman was arrested on a warrant and for driving a motor vehicle with a revoked license Sunday after said they conducted a random license plate inquiry on her car and saw her license was revoked.

Heather Carrara was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, operating without proper documentation and driving with unsafe tires.

Police stopped the red Volkswagen she was driving on Route 23 North at about 11:43 p.m. During a roadside investigation, police said they discovered an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of Pequannock for $500.

Carrara was transported to the Butler police station. She was released in her own recognizance with tickets to appear in court in Butler and Pequannock.
