Clown-Dunking Helps Raise Money for Tri-Boro First Aid Squad

EMTs host booth at Bloomingdale fireworks.

Dropping a clown into a vat of water was extra satisfying for Tri-Boro First Aid Squad last month when the emergency medical crew hosted the booth at the Bloomingdale fireworks to raise money.

Tri-Boro First Aid Squad services Kinnelon, Butler and Bloomingdale, responding to more than 820 medical calls in the tri-boro so far this year. The non-profit organization depends on fundraising.

Brian Tepe, a longtime Squad member, stepped up to dress as the clown while Parti Rents, of Haskell, donated the dunk tank.

The Squad will also be hosting a Tricky Tray at St. Anthony's Church in Butler in November. Those interested in donating gift certificates or basket items should contact Maureen C. at 862-686-1174.
