Vehicles Collide, One Crashes Into Building

Butler man, 89, cited for careless driving.

Two elderly Butler residents were transported to Chilton Memorial Hospital Monday afternoon after their vehicle collided with another vehicle and hit a building.

Butler police received a report of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Main Street and Park Place at about 1:45 p.m. Upon arrival, patrols discovered a collision involving two motor vehicles.

The investigation revealed that Holzberger, the 89-year-old driver, had failed to stop to oncoming traffic as he emerged from Park Place onto Main Street, police said. Holzberger collided with a 2002 Saturn driven by a 48-year-old Butler resident, Suzanne Sheehy, who was traveling east on Main Street, police said.
