Garfield Man Arrested on DWI Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Kinnelon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 32-year-old Garfield man was charged with DWI after police stopped his vehicle on Route 23 South in Sunday for allegedly weaving in and out of a lane.

said Vladimir Taskovski, 32, was driving a 1998 Honda at about 2:47 a.m. when he was stopped by Ptl. Mark Ehrenburg. Upon further investigation, police said Ehrenbrg smelled a strong odor of alcohol coming from the car. Taskovski allegedly admitted to drinking and then failed several field sobriety tests, police said.

He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the police station and later released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
