Highland Lakes Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

Police said she owed $1,000 to the Butler Municipal Court.

A Highland Lakes woman was arrested in Butler Friday on several outstanding warrants for previous narcotics charges, police said.

said they found Amarilis Torres, 25, at a friend’s home on Friday around 3:59 p.m., and arrested her for having warrants that totaled $1,000 out of the Butler Municipal Court.

Police said that while processing Torres, they discovered she had several other outstanding warrants for her arrest, including one from Byram Township Municipal Court for $300 and one from Wayne Township Municipal Court for $376.

Torres was able to post bail, police said, and was released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
