Jewelry Stolen in Glenwild Ave. Burglary, Cops Say

No one was arrested for the incident, but police are investigating.

The Thursday evening burglary of a Glenwild Avenue home is under investigation by Bloomingdale Police.

The home's resident reportedly returned home just after 3:30 p.m. to find their home broken into, according to Ptl. Dan Fletcher.

Fletcher said that it appeared as though the house's rear door had been forced open and that items were moved and drawers left open in several rooms. It appeared only jewelry was stolen, Fletcher said, but no estimated value for the jewelry was released.
