Justin Bieber's plane was detained Friday afternoon at Teterboro Airport after authorities suspected there were drugs onboard.

The troubled pop star was believed to be on the flight with his father and 10 others from Ontario to New Jersey for the Super Bowl, according to NorthJersey.com.

“When the doors to the plane were opened, there was smoke and strong odor of suspected marijuana,” a law enforcement source told NorthJersey.com.

However, narcotics were not found in any of the suitcases or on the plane, which is registered to Parsippany-based IC Group LLC, the article said.

This is the latest of a recent string of run-ins with authorities for the 19-year-old.

Bieber was arrested on Wednesday in Toronto for an alleged attack on a limo driver outside a nightclub on Dec. 30.

Bieber was also charged in Miami last month with drunken driving and drag racing and could face charges for an alleged egging incident that caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to a neighbor's home in California.

The Amazing Kreskin, a North Jersey mentalist, in an open letter last week offered to help the troubled pop star.

Kreskin has claimed that, “months ago I publicly predicted the scenario you are going through at the present time.”

To help the teen singer, Kreskin also offered to meet with him privately in order to reveal to Bieber how long his career will last if he continues with his current lifestyle and the major changes he needs to make.

“I will disclose a MAJOR [sic] change that you MUST [sic] make in order for any kind of rehab or therapy to succeed,” Kreskin wrote on his website.

...and he' a perfect example of why a 19 year old is not mature and responsible enough to handle having access to $100 million dollars.

I don't know about the ramblings of a "mentalist" but bieber needs the Lord Jesus to heal his sin.

Sal, I doubt the accuracy of your data on JB's income and U. S. taxes. IF he really earned $100 million taxable, his marginal tax rate would be around 40% on everything over $400,000. That would mean that he should have paid in excess of $39 million in just FEDERAL INCOME TAXES alone, not $20 mill. Then there's the state income taxes which in CALITAXIA would have added another $12 million in state income taxes last year. The kid's behavior is that of a spoiled brat who needs to spend some time in big-boy prison for endangering the lives of innocent civilians in Florida alone.
