Kinnelon Man Charged With Theft After Allegedly Stealing From Gas Station
The following arrest information was supplied by the Kinnelon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
An 18-year-old Kinnelon man was arrested Tuesday and charged with theft after police said he stole $645 in cash from gas sales at the Getty Station.
Bijon F. Spinazzola was charged with third-degree theft.
said that the owners of Getty had reported theft over a five-day period in December of Spinazzola, a former employee of the gas station. Police said that when the owner confronted Spinazzola, he had allegedly admitted to taking the money and agreed to pay the owner back.

Police said that by March 4, no money had been paid back and the owner decided to press charges.
Spinazzola was transported to the Kinnelon police station and released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
