Cops: Man Arrested for Failing to Pay Child Support

The following arrest information was supplied by the Butler Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A 33-year-old Franklin man was arrested in Sunday afternoon after police said they discovered a Passaic County Superior Court warrant for his arrest for failure to pay back child support. The driver of the vehicle he was a passenger in was issued summonses for driving with a suspended license.

Daniel J. Sollitto was arrested and turned over to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office on the warrant and Sandra Barbosa, 35, of Franklin, was issued two summonses for operating a motor vehicle while suspended and operating a motor vehicle with an expired insurance document.

Police said they stopped the vehicle Barbosa was driving at 3:57 p.m. on Route 23 North after a random license plate inquiry on the 2005 Cadillac allegedly revealed that her license was suspended.
