Montville Patch: Butler Man Arrested in Connection With Burglaries

Police say two men were involved in a string of burglaries in Pinebrook in February.

Two men were arrested in Montville and charged with six counts of theft, four counts of burglary and four counts of conspiracy to commit burglary after police said they were involved in a string of burglaries in Pine Brook  in February. One of the men, Robert J. Volpe-Bonomo, 30, is from Butler.

The alleged burglaries, police said, included the men allegedly breaking into a Towaco house twice and stealing tools and taking checks out of a Montville resident's mailbox.

According to a story on Montville Patch, five police departments assisted in the investigation, as well as the Morris County Prosecutor's Office.
