Police said man was thrown from motorcycle on Glenwild Avenue.

A Union man was injured in a motorcycle crash on Glenwild Avenue Saturday after he lost control of his motorcycle and drove off the roadway. No other vehicles were involved.

Bloomingdale police said wet road conditions caused Tareen Nawaz, 31, to drive off the roadway around 4:30 p.m. He was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained injuries to his right shoulder and left hip.

He was transported to Morristown Hospital by Tri-Boro First Aid Squad. Chilton Hospital paramedics also responded to the scene.
