Newfoundland Man Arrested on Warrant in Butler

The following arrest information was supplied by the Butler Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Newfoundland man was arrested on a warrant after police said he was stopped while driving on Route 23 Wednesday.

According to , Keith R. Dorrman, 23, was driving a black 2007 Jeep at 11:20 p.m. when police said he allegedly failed to come to a complete stop before making a right hand turn onto the highway.

Police said that after stopping his vehicle, a routine records check showed that his driver’s license was suspended and that there was a warrant out for his arrest from the Roseland Municipal Court for $235.

Dorrman was arrested and transported to the Butler police station. He was charged with failing to come to a complete stop before making a right hand turn and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. He was released in his own recognizance and issued tickets to appear in Roseland and Butler Municipal Courts.
